Players who flirt with the creek down the left side will be rewarded with a better approach angle to the green. Shorter players will have options to either lay up short of the creek for two, and have an interesting chip over water, or, to carry the creek and lay up on the short fairway pad left of the green, providing a relatively easy chip shot.
